I am leaving for home today...so finally internship ends smoothly.
Last few days were very hectic. Searching for house, internship relieving responsibilities, etc,etc.
Found house, leaving for home. Bingo. :-)
I am happy today; going home after six months, my first hols after joining the corporate world........can't explain the happiness in words...
Will post if I get some free time...

Transition!

In my previous post a lot was said in comments abt the laptops & Apple. Here comes one of the biggest news for the PC industry, which all of us surely can't afford to miss and its that Apple dumps IBM for transition of all of its Macs to Intel microprocessors by the end of 2007.

....The move to x86 should make porting more software even easier. Furthermore, such ported software will benefit from many processor-dependent enhancements, and so should be quicker. And that’s never a bad thing.
So…Whilst it’ll be interesting to see the effect that this has on Apple’s profits this year (especially at a time when iPod demand is flat or falling), the move is certainly good for the future, and in time, will likely really make for decent competition with Microsoft’s Windows hegemony.
So, all of us who love the features of Mac, will love to see it speeding thru transition...but if u r planning to buy a Mac hold on to decide whether u r going to buy a PowerPC based system or will wait until MAc switches gears?

While I was updating "its my expressions" last nite, suddenly my eyes got split wide open...i saw something which I had never expected...not that I don't know about it; only thing is that it was not imaginable or expected... it was blue...it was horrifying...it was a terror...it was Windows Blue screen...of death...
Now my IBM thinkpad is my working machine in the office too...no doubt it bears the load of so many heavy applications whole day...Is ON for minimum around 15hrs a day...IT must be thanking GOD for the time when I am away from it...so that it can rest in peace.... ;-)

I love my lappy...my poor baby...but imagine if it goes down it means, some useless hours to submit for recovery in IT dept...asking for sm other m/c....MEANS lots of pending work over the weekend or on Monday....
But since I am writing this post...and as by now u wud hav gathered that its booted again to the last successful configuration, finally came out from the trap of death to life like Phoenix...but shud I believe this will not leave and go very far away like other things I Love? ;-)
Its almost 1:30am now, i had been in a bad mood whole day...so had started browsing...
Sonal now time to shut up, post this & sleep...if you don't wanna miss the bus in the morning....
